You understand that exercise carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Muscle strain
• Joint injury
• Cardiovascular stress
• Serious injury

You accept these risks as part of participation.

You confirm that:

• You are physically capable of participating in exercise
• You have disclosed all relevant medical conditions, injuries, or limitations
• You will inform your coach immediately of any pain, discomfort, or restriction

You understand that failure to disclose relevant information may increase your risk of injury.

You agree to:

• Follow all instructions given by your coach
• Use equipment only as directed
• Train within your capability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, you indemnify and hold harmless Engine Room, its directors, employees, and coaches against any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation, except where such injury or loss results from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Engine Room shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from:

• Failure to follow instruction
• Undisclosed medical conditions
• Misuse of equipment

This clause does not exclude liability where it is not permitted by law.

You consent to Engine Room collecting and using your personal information for the purposes of:

• Booking and managing your trial
• Communication regarding your session

Your information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

This agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa.

By booking your trial and/or attending a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this waiver.
